What this directory is for
National Aesthetics exists to make one part of a difficult decision straightforward: working out whether the person who will treat you is registered, who prescribes, and what happens if something goes wrong. Those facts are public, free to check and rarely presented together. We assemble them, and we publish what we checked and when.
Alongside the directory we publish treatment guides carrying observed UK price ranges for 2026 and the questions worth asking before booking, and city pages explaining how the market and the regulator work in each place. Both are written to be useful whether or not you use a listed clinic.
Who publishes it
National Aesthetics is published by Northbank Media, an independent publisher of specialist titles. We are not a clinic. We do not treat patients, we do not sell treatments, and we do not take commission on bookings.
How we make money
Verified clinic listings, paid monthly, currently at a founding rate from £39 per month. That is the whole model. We do not run display advertising, we do not sell leads, and we do not take a percentage of anything a clinic earns from a patient who found them here.
Paying does not affect whether a clinic passes verification, and it does not affect anything written on the treatment or city pages. A clinic that fails the checks is refunded and not listed. We would rather have a short directory that means something than a long one that does not.
Where the directory is today
Verified listings are onboarding. We are opening cities one at a time rather than launching with a list of clinics we have not checked, which is the point at which most directories quietly compromise. Until a city has verified listings, its page carries the market and regulator information and an open invitation to clinics that meet the standard.
This is slower than the alternative and it is the only version of this directory worth building. If you run a clinic that meets the standard, apply for a listing.
What we will not do
- We will not list a provider we cannot verify on a public register.
- We will not publish invented clinics, addresses, phone numbers or statistics.
- We will not rank clinics by how much they pay.
- We will not advertise prescription-only medicines by brand name to the public.
- We will not present a paid listing as an editorial recommendation.
Our editorial policy sets out how we handle prices, evidence, corrections and links. Our verification page sets out the checks in full.
