Who can list
National Aesthetics lists clinics where treatments are delivered by practitioners holding current registration with a UK statutory healthcare regulator. In practice that means at least one named practitioner registered with the General Medical Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the General Dental Council or the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a clear description of who delivers which treatments.
We also accept clinics whose practitioners are on the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners register or accredited by Save Face, provided the underlying statutory registration is also in place and verifiable.
Who cannot list
- Providers with no registered healthcare professional responsible for the treatments offered.
- Mobile or home-visit injectable services operating outside a clinical setting.
- Practices unwilling to name the prescriber responsible for prescription-only medicines.
- Providers advertising prescription-only medicines by brand name to the public, which is not permitted under UK advertising rules.
- Anyone offering botulinum toxin or fillers for cosmetic purposes to under 18s.
- Providers who decline to supply insurance details or a complications policy.
What verification requires from you
Applications are assessed against a fixed checklist, described in full on our verification page. You will be asked to supply:
- The full name and registration number of each treating practitioner, so we can check the relevant register directly.
- The name and registration number of the prescriber for any prescription-only medicine, and confirmation that first treatments follow a face-to-face consultation.
- Confirmation of clinic-level registration where it applies: the Care Quality Commission in England, Healthcare Improvement Scotland in Scotland, Healthcare Inspectorate Wales in Wales, or the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority in Northern Ireland.
- Evidence of current medical malpractice or professional indemnity insurance covering the treatments listed.
- A written complications policy including out of hours contact arrangements.
- Your treatment list with indicative price ranges, and the address and hours of each location.
We check the registers ourselves rather than accepting certificates. Anything we cannot verify does not appear. If a listing later fails a recheck, it is suspended until the position is resolved.
What a listing costs
Founding rate: from £39 per month. The founding rate covers a verified clinic profile, listing on the relevant city page and on each treatment page you are verified for, your practitioner credentials displayed with verification status, and your treatment price ranges. It is fixed for as long as the listing runs continuously.
Verification is not for sale. Paying for a listing does not influence whether you pass the checks, and it does not affect the content of our treatment guides or city pages. A clinic that fails verification is refunded and not listed.
