UK anti-wrinkle injection published price observations

· Observation 1

On 7 October 2026 we read 24 UK provider websites offering anti-wrinkle injections across six cities and recorded every price they published for a stated number of facial areas. Sixteen pages published an anti-wrinkle price of some kind, twelve published a price against a stated number of facial areas, and eight published none or could not be read. The 34 recorded figures ran from £140 to £449, with a median of £227.5. One area ran from £140 to £259, two areas from £190 to £359, and three areas from £170 to £449. These are prices providers published, not quotations, and they do not establish what any treatment will cost you.

What this record is, and what it is not

This page exists because the cost of anti-wrinkle injections is quoted everywhere and sourced almost nowhere. A reader, a journalist or a resource page that wants to say what the treatment costs in the United Kingdom usually has to rely on a figure with no date, no sample and no way to check it. This record is the opposite of that: a fixed number of named provider pages, read on a stated date, with every figure traceable to the page it came from.

It is a record of published prices. It is not a price list, not a quotation, not an offer and not a comparison of providers. It does not rank anybody, recommend anybody or say that one appointment is better value than another. A price cannot show how carefully a person will be assessed, who will carry out the injection or whether treatment is appropriate at all.

The record is titled for anti-wrinkle injections rather than for a brand because botulinum toxin is a prescription only medicine in the United Kingdom and may not be advertised to the public by name. Providers therefore advertise the treatment generically, and the figures recorded here are the figures they publish under that wording, whichever product is used.

Method

The method is written out here so that the figures can be checked and the observation repeated.

What these figures do not show

A published price describes a format a provider has chosen to advertise. An area is not a standard unit: providers differ on what counts as one area, on how much product that involves and on whether a review appointment is included, so two one area prices are not necessarily two prices for the same thing. A provider may change what is published at any time, and several publish a starting figure or nothing at all, so the set is a picture of what was published, not of what was charged.

Nothing here is medical advice and nothing here establishes suitability. Anti-wrinkle injections use a prescription only medicine, which means a prescriber must assess the person before it is supplied, and no published figure can stand in for that assessment. If you are using this record to prepare for a consultation, use it to understand the shape of the market and then ask the provider directly what the appointment includes, who will carry it out and what it costs.

Questions readers ask

What does this page record?

It records prices for anti-wrinkle injections that were published on provider websites in the United Kingdom on a stated date. Each figure was read from a provider's own page and the address of that page is listed. It is a dated observation of published prices, not a price list, not a quotation and not an offer.

How many provider pages were observed?

Observation 1, made on 7 October 2026, covered 24 provider pages across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Sixteen published an anti-wrinkle price of some kind, and twelve published a price against a stated number of facial areas, which is the set used for the figures above. One page could not be read on the day and is recorded as unread.

Why is the record titled for anti-wrinkle injections rather than for a brand?

Botulinum toxin is a prescription only medicine in the United Kingdom and may not be advertised to the public by brand name. Providers advertise the treatment generically, so the record follows the wording they publish, whichever product is used.

Why are some providers missing from the figures?

Because a figure is only counted when it is published against a stated number of facial areas. A provider that publishes a starting price, a single figure with no area count, a price for one named zone or a lighter dose format under its own name is listed in the register with what it published, but its figure is not pooled with the area prices, because it would not be comparable.

Can I use these figures to decide what a treatment should cost me?

No. A published price is a commercial statement about a described format at a moment in time. It does not establish what a provider will charge you, what your appointment will include or whether treatment is suitable. An area is not a standard unit either, so a one area price at one provider need not cover what a one area price covers at another. Ask the provider directly before booking.

Can this record be cited?

Yes. Cite the observation number and its date, because the figures are replaced rather than edited when a new observation is made, and earlier observations stay listed in the version history above.
