UK thread lift published price observations
On 8 October 2026 we read the same 24 UK provider websites across six cities and recorded every price they published for a thread lift. Five published a thread price of any kind, and 32 figures were recorded, running from £150 for a PDO lip line to £2,800 for a PDO full face. Nothing here can be pooled. Not one unit is priced by three separate providers in the same words, which has not happened in the seven records before this one, and only one provider in 24 publishes the thread count, which is the thing that sets the price. These are prices providers published, not quotations, and they do not establish what any treatment will cost you.
What this record is, and what it is not
This page exists because the cost of a thread lift is quoted everywhere and sourced almost nowhere. A reader, a journalist or a resource page that wants to say what a thread lift costs in the United Kingdom usually has to rely on a figure with no date, no sample and no way to check it. This record is the opposite of that: a fixed number of named provider pages, read on a stated date, with every figure traceable to the page it came from.
It is a record of published prices. It is not a price list, not a quotation, not an offer and not a comparison of providers. It does not rank anybody, recommend anybody or say that one appointment is better value than another. A price cannot show how many threads are used, what they are made of, by whom they are placed, or whether a thread lift is appropriate at all.
This treatment resists comparison in four ways at once, and all four were settled before a page was opened. The threads are made of different materials with different lifespans: polydioxanone (PDO), poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and polycaprolactone (PCL) are not the same product, and Silhouette Soft, Definisse, Aptos, Mint and Novathreads are not the same product either. It is sold by the number of threads placed. It is sold by area, with the brow, the jawline, the neck and the full face all priced separately. And the same words, thread lift, cover a barbed cog lift and a smooth mono thread treatment that does not lift at all. The unit chosen before reading was therefore one session at a stated thread count to a named area, with the material recorded and never pooled across materials. The panel does not publish that unit, and that is the central finding of this observation rather than a failure of it.
Observation 1: 8 October 2026
Nothing on this panel can be pooled
This is the eighth record in this series and the first in which no figure can honestly be pooled. In the seven before it there was always at least one unit that three or more providers priced in the same words, which is the minimum this directory treats as poolable. Here there is none.
| Unit sought | Providers publishing one | Poolable |
|---|---|---|
| One session at a stated thread count, any material | 1 | No |
| A full face lift at a named material | 2, one PDO and one Silhouette Soft | No |
| A jowl or lower face lift | 1 | No |
| Neck threads | 2 | No |
| A brow lift, material named or not | 3 | Given as a spread, not an average |
| Smooth mono threads for skin quality | 0 | No |
The treatment the panel is least willing to sell
Fourteen of the 24 providers do not offer a thread lift at all, which is the highest refusal of the eight treatments recorded here by a wide margin. Two more name the treatment and publish no price. Three could not be read. That leaves five providers publishing a figure, against 21 for HydraFacial and 14 for skin peels on the same panel. A reader is not choosing between many published thread lift prices because very few exist.
The thread count, the thing that sets the price, is published once in 24
One provider on this panel prices by the number of threads placed. clnq.com in Manchester publishes four threads of PDO at £1,400 and five at £1,600, and three Silhouette threads at £1,800 and four at £2,500. Within PDO one extra thread adds £200, 14 per cent. Within Silhouette one extra thread adds £700, 39 per cent. Every other priced page on the panel names no count at all, so a reader comparing two clinics on the words thread lift is comparing unknown quantities of product.
The material carries the price, on the same page
Three times on this panel a provider prices two materials for the same area on the same page, and the gap is the largest this series has recorded. At clnq.com, four threads of PDO are £1,400 and four Silhouette threads are £2,500, a premium of 79 per cent for the same count. At clinicamedica.co.uk in Glasgow, a PDO eyebrow lift is £500 and a Silhouette Soft eyebrow lift £600, a premium of 20 per cent, while a PDO neck tightening is £1,000 and a Silhouette Soft neck lift £2,000, a premium of 100 per cent. The Morpheus8 record found a 36 per cent branded premium and the polynucleotide record found 25 per cent. This is the third finding of the same kind and the strongest.
It also reverses between providers, which is exactly why cross-provider pooling fails here. The two fixed full face figures on the panel are a Silhouette Soft full face rejuvenation at £2,500 and a PDO full face at £2,800. Within one page the branded thread costs more; between two pages the PDO figure is higher. A pooled full face number would hide both facts.
One provider's own list covers most of the panel's whole range
The thread prices published by clinicamedica.co.uk run from £150 for a lip line to £2,500 for a Silhouette Soft full face rejuvenation. That single page covers 89 per cent of the range of the entire sample, because the word area is doing an enormous amount of work: a lip line and a full face are both sold as a thread lift. A median across providers would be a weaker number here than in any earlier record.

All 32 figures, grouped by what the provider said they were for. Figures are listed as published, with the material named only where the provider named it.

| PDO Long | PDO | ai-beauty.co.uk | £180 |
| Lower eyelid | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £300 |
| PDO Area | PDO | ai-beauty.co.uk | £300 |
| Bunny lines | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £350 |
| Eyebrow lift | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £500 |
| Forehead tightening | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £500 |
| Smokers lines | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £500 |
| Eyebrow lift | Silhouette Soft | clinicamedica.co.uk | £600 |
| Frown line | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £600 |

| Thread brow lift, 45 minutes | none named | dermoperfection.co.uk | £750 |
| Threads, eyebrow lift | none named | clnq.com | £850 |
| Cat eye thread lift | none named | clnq.com | £850 |
| Elbow lift, body | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £940 |
| PDO threads face lift, a starting figure | PDO | skinozaclinic.co.uk | from £999 |
| Decolletage | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £1,000 |
| Neck tightening | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £1,000 |
| Body | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £1,000 |
| Definisse thread lift | Definisse | clnq.com | £1,200 |
| Thread lift, neck | none named | clnq.com | £1,200 |
| Four threads | PDO | clnq.com | £1,400 |
| Five threads | PDO | clnq.com | £1,600 |
| Facelift and tightening | PDO | clinicamedica.co.uk | £1,750 |
| Three threads | Silhouette | clnq.com | £1,800 |
| Neck lift | Silhouette Soft | clinicamedica.co.uk | £2,000 |
| Full face rejuvenation | Silhouette Soft | clinicamedica.co.uk | £2,500 |
| Four threads | Silhouette | clnq.com | £2,500 |
| PDO full face | PDO | ai-beauty.co.uk | £2,800 |
Three consultation fees of £100 are published alongside these at clinicamedica.co.uk, deducted from the treatment on the PDO lines, and one Silhouette Soft body line is published as price on application. Those four are not treatment prices and are not counted among the 32.
The brow lift is the one area three providers price
A brow or eyebrow lift is the only area on this panel that three separate providers put a figure against, so it is the only set worth giving at all, and it is given as a spread rather than an average.
| Provider | Material named | Price |
|---|---|---|
clinicamedica.co.uk | PDO | £500 |
clinicamedica.co.uk | Silhouette Soft | £600 |
dermoperfection.co.uk | none named | £750 |
clnq.com | none named | £850 |
Three providers, four figures, £500 to £850. Two of the four name no material, so the spread mixes a known PDO price, a known Silhouette Soft price and two unknowns, and it should be read as the range of what was published rather than as the price of a brow lift.
The range this directory used to state, and why it is gone
Before this observation the thread lift guide on this directory stated five price ranges and a headline figure of from £1,000, none of them sourced. Every one of them sat above what the panel actually publishes, and one of them described a product nobody on the panel prices.
| What the guide said | What the panel published |
|---|---|
| From £1,000 | The lowest thread figure published is £150, and 19 of the 32 figures are below £1,000 |
| Jowl or lower face lift £1,000 to £2,000 | One provider prices a jawline lift, at £750 |
| Mid-face and jowls combined £1,500 to £2,500 | No provider publishes that combination as a priced line |
| Neck threads £1,200 to £2,200 | Two providers, three figures: £1,000, £1,200 and £2,000 |
| Brow or fox-eye threads £600 to £1,200 | Three providers, four figures: £500 to £850 |
| Smooth mono threads for skin quality, £300 to £700 per area | Not one provider on the panel publishes a mono thread price |
The ranges were removed rather than restated, which is what these records are for. The laser hair removal observation did the same thing in the other direction, finding published figures of £30 to £85 where this directory had stated £80 to £150.
Method
The method is written out here so that the figures can be checked and the observation repeated.
When. All 24 pages were read on 8 October 2026.
Who. The same fixed panel of 24 UK provider websites this directory uses for every price record, across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The panel is not changed between treatments, so the records can be compared with one another. A page is included when it is a provider’s own website publishing prices for its own treatments.
What counts as a figure. A price published in text, in pounds sterling, against a thread treatment. The provider’s own treatment page was opened first where a main price list did not carry threads, because a price list often omits them. Prices published only as an image or inside a PDF were not read, and that is recorded rather than worked around.
What was fixed before reading. The unit, one session at a stated thread count to a named area with the material recorded, was chosen before any page was opened, on the evidence of the Morpheus8 and polynucleotide observations that a brand name carries a price. Materials are recorded and never pooled with one another. A provider that names no material is recorded as naming none rather than assumed to use any particular one.
What was excluded and why. Consultation fees, because they are not treatment prices. Price on application lines. Thread vein and spider vein treatments, which share the word thread and are a different procedure entirely, and which four providers on this panel price. Laser and radiofrequency lifting treatments marketed with the word lift, such as Endolift, VectorLift and HIFU, because they place no threads. General market estimates a provider quotes about the United Kingdom rather than about itself: skinozaclinic.co.uk states that a PDO thread lift in the UK ranges from £500 to £2,000, and that figure is not its own price and is not recorded as one.
What this is not. Not a survey of the market, not a sample designed to be representative, and not advice. Twenty four providers in six cities is a panel, not a population. Prices change without notice and should be checked with the provider directly before booking.

Version history
This record is republished rather than edited. Each observation keeps its own date and figures, so a citation stays accurate after the next observation is made.
- Observation 1, 8 October 2026. 24 provider pages across six cities, 5 publishing a thread price of any kind, 32 figures recorded from £150 to £2,800, and no unit priced by three separate providers in the same words, so nothing is pooled. One provider publishes a thread count. Fourteen of the panel do not offer the treatment, two offer it and publish no price, and three could not be read.

Questions readers ask
What does this page record?
It records prices for thread lifts that were published on provider websites in the United Kingdom on a stated date. Each figure was read from a provider’s own page and the address of that page is listed. It is a dated observation of published prices, not a price list, not a quotation and not an offer.
Why is there no single figure for what a thread lift costs?
Because no unit on this panel is priced by three separate providers in the same words, which is the minimum this directory treats as poolable. Five providers publish a thread price at all, and they price different things: one by thread count, one by eighteen named areas, one by a starting figure for the face, one by a brow lift alone. Averaging those would produce a number no provider publishes.
Then what is the honest answer to the cost question?
That the 32 figures published on this panel on 8 October 2026 ran from £150 for a PDO lip line to £2,800 for a PDO full face, and that the only area three providers price is a brow lift, at £500 to £850. Anything narrower than that is not supported by what providers published.
Why does the number of threads matter so much?
Because it is what is being bought, and almost nobody publishes it. The one provider on this panel that prices by count charges £1,400 for four PDO threads and £1,600 for five, and £1,800 for three Silhouette threads and £2,500 for four. Two clinics advertising a thread lift at the same price can be placing very different amounts of product.
Does the type of thread change the price?
Yes, and by more than any branded premium this series has recorded. On the same page one provider prices four PDO threads at £1,400 and four Silhouette threads at £2,500, a difference of 79 per cent, and another prices a PDO neck tightening at £1,000 and a Silhouette Soft neck lift at £2,000, a difference of 100 per cent. The direction reverses between providers, which is why materials are never pooled here.
Why do so few providers on the panel offer a thread lift?
Fourteen of 24 do not offer one, the highest of the eight treatments recorded here. The record does not establish why. It is worth noting plainly that thread lifts carry a higher complication profile than the other treatments on this panel and demand surgical-level anatomical knowledge, and that several providers on the panel offer laser or radiofrequency lifting instead.
What happened to the price range this directory used to publish?
It was removed. The guide had stated a headline of from £1,000 and five ranges by area, none sourced. Against the published figures the headline sat above 19 of the 32, every area range sat above what the panel publishes at its floor, and one range described smooth mono threads, which no provider on the panel prices at all.
Can I use these figures to decide what a thread lift should cost me?
No. A published price is a commercial statement about one procedure at a moment in time. It does not establish what a provider will charge you, how many threads will be placed, what they are made of, by whom, or whether a thread lift is appropriate for you at all. Those questions belong with a registered practitioner who has assessed you, and how we verify sets out the register checks worth running first.
Can this record be cited?
Yes. Cite the observation number and its date, because the figures are replaced rather than edited when a new observation is made, and earlier observations stay listed in the version history above.
