UK skin peel published price observations

· Observation 1

On 8 October 2026 we read 24 UK provider websites offering chemical skin peels across six cities and recorded every price they published for a single peel session to the face. Seventeen pages published a peel price of some kind, fourteen published one for a single face session, and the rest published a starting figure, a course only, nothing at all or could not be read. The 46 recorded figures ran from £65 to £480, with a median of £100. These are prices providers published, not quotations, and they do not establish what any treatment will cost you.

What this record is, and what it is not

This page exists because the cost of a chemical peel is quoted everywhere and sourced almost nowhere. A reader, a journalist or a resource page that wants to say what peels cost in the United Kingdom usually has to rely on a figure with no date, no sample and no way to check it. This record is the opposite of that: a fixed number of named provider pages, read on a stated date, with every figure traceable to the page it came from.

It is a record of published prices. It is not a price list, not a quotation, not an offer and not a comparison of providers. It does not rank anybody, recommend anybody or say that one appointment is better value than another. A price cannot show which acid is used, at what strength, to what depth, by whom, or whether a peel is appropriate at all.

Peel pricing resists comparison in a particular way: providers price by brand and by agent, almost never by depth. The unit here is therefore a single chemical peel session to the face as the provider published it, and what the panel does and does not say about depth is set out in its own section below, because that gap is the most useful thing this observation found.

What the panel publishes about depth

The depth of a peel is the clinical decision that decides the result and the recovery, and it is the thing the published prices are least willing to say. Four of the 24 pages stated a depth alongside a price, and only one published a figure for a full face medium depth peel, so a sourced median for medium depth work does not exist on this panel.

Depth as the provider stated itProviders stating it with a priceFigures recordedLowestMedianHighest

Medium depth, full face, in the provider’s own words11£350£350£350
No depth stated, priced by brand or agent1337

One provider, clnq.com, publishes its own depth bands in full: superficial peels at £60 to £90 and medium depth peels at £150 to £350. One other, themayfieldclinic.co.uk, describes three depths and publishes no price at all. The remaining pages name a brand, an acid or a programme and leave depth to the consultation.

By provider

The spread within a single provider’s own list is often as wide as the spread across the market, because the brand and the strength change the figure.

The city figures are small samples and should be read as such. Glasgow has the lowest figure in the set and Edinburgh the narrowest spread, but in each case that rests on a handful of pages, and in Edinburgh on a single provider.

Method

The method is written out here so that the figures can be checked and the observation repeated.

When. All 24 pages were read on 8 October 2026. A price that changed after that date is not reflected in Observation 1.

Where. Six cities were covered: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh. These are the cities this directory already indexes.

Which providers. The same 24 provider websites observed for the HydraFacial record, the anti-wrinkle injection record and the dermal filler record, so that all four records describe one panel rather than four different samples. Where a provider publishes peel prices on a treatment page rather than its main price list, the treatment page was read and its address is the one listed.

How pages were selected. A page was included when it was a provider’s own website and published prices for its own treatments. Price comparison sites, deal and voucher sites, booking platforms, directories and editorial cost articles were excluded, because the figures on them are not the provider’s own published price.

What was counted. A published price for one chemical peel session applied to the face, named by the provider. Where a provider publishes one price covering a choice of named peels, that is counted as one figure. Where a provider publishes different figures for different practitioners, the lowest published figure was recorded.

What was excluded. Starting figures and prices with no named peel; courses, packages and multi month depigmentation programmes; body, back, intimate, hand, heel and eye only areas; peels priced together with another treatment such as LED, microdermabrasion or microneedling; add ons and boosters; peels priced with a take home product pack; part face pricing; and laser resurfacing sold as a peel, which is a different treatment. These were excluded so that the figures compare one session with one session.

What the numbers are. Lowest and highest are the lowest and highest figures in the set. The median is the middle figure of the set, or the mean of the two middle figures where the set is even. No figure here is estimated, interpolated, averaged across cities or adjusted in any way.

What could not be read. Five pages could not be read on the observation date. ai-beauty.co.uk and drstmedical.co.uk answered HTTP 403. altamedi.com answered HTTP 202 with a challenge page carrying no price text. leedsprivatehospital.co.uk answered HTTP 429 on three attempts. thesourceclinic.com publishes its price list only as images and a PDF. All five are recorded as unread rather than as publishing nothing.

How sources are cited. Every page observed is listed in the register below as a plain web address rather than a link. The record cites its sources so they can be checked, without linking to, endorsing or promoting any provider.

What these figures do not show

A published peel price describes a brand and an appointment length a provider has chosen to advertise. It does not describe a depth, an acid concentration, a number of layers or a level of assessment, and those are what separate a peel that helps from one that marks the skin. The same brand name sits at £80 on one list and £175 on another, and the difference may be the strength used, the practitioner, the preparation included, or nothing at all.

Because peels are cumulative by design, a single session figure is also the least useful number in the decision. Most providers on this panel sell courses, and several publish a course price that works out well below the single session figure; a reader comparing single sessions is comparing the part of the price that matters least.

Nothing here is medical advice and nothing here establishes suitability. The questions that matter more than the figure are which acid and strength is proposed and why, whether the skin will be prepared first, whether a patch test is used, and who reviews you if pigmentation appears afterwards. No published price answers any of that. Ask the provider directly before booking.

Questions readers ask

What does this page record?

It records prices for chemical skin peels that were published on provider websites in the United Kingdom on a stated date. Each figure was read from a provider’s own page and the address of that page is listed. It is a dated observation of published prices, not a price list, not a quotation and not an offer.

Why is the unit a single peel session rather than a peel depth?

Because almost nobody publishes a price against a depth. Of the 24 pages observed on 8 October 2026, four stated a depth alongside a price and only one published a figure for a full face medium depth peel. Depth is a clinical description of what the acid does; the published prices are organised by brand and agent instead, so a single session as published is the only unit the panel supports.

Why are some providers missing from the figures?

A figure is pooled only when it is a price for one chemical peel session to the face. A starting figure, a course or package, a body or eye only area, a peel priced together with LED or microneedling, and a peel priced with a take home product pack are each listed in the register with what the provider published, but kept out of the pooled figures because they would not compare with one session.

Can I use these figures to decide what a peel should cost me?

No. A published price is a commercial statement about a named product at a moment in time. It does not establish what a provider will charge you, which acid or strength would suit your skin, or whether a peel is appropriate at all. The same brand name covers very different strengths in different hands.

Can this record be cited?

Yes. Cite the observation number and its date, because the figures are replaced rather than edited when a new observation is made, and earlier observations stay listed in the version history above.
