UK dermal filler published price observations

· Observation 1

On 7 October 2026 we read 24 UK provider websites offering dermal fillers across six cities and recorded every price they published for one millilitre, or one syringe, of filler to a named facial area. Sixteen pages published a filler price of some kind, eleven published one against a stated volume, and the rest published a starting figure, no volume or nothing at all. The 32 recorded figures ran from £170 to £599, with a median of £325. These are prices providers published, not quotations, and they do not establish what any treatment will cost you.

What this record is, and what it is not

This page exists because the cost of dermal fillers is quoted everywhere and sourced almost nowhere. A reader, a journalist or a resource page that wants to say what fillers cost in the United Kingdom usually has to rely on a figure with no date, no sample and no way to check it. This record is the opposite of that: a fixed number of named provider pages, read on a stated date, with every figure traceable to the page it came from.

It is a record of published prices. It is not a price list, not a quotation, not an offer and not a comparison of providers. It does not rank anybody, recommend anybody or say that one appointment is better value than another. A price cannot show which product is used, how much of it, who injects it, or whether treatment is appropriate at all.

Filler pricing resists comparison more than most treatments, because providers price by area, by product and by volume, and the same named area can mean half a millilitre at one provider and two at another. That is the reason the unit here is one millilitre or one syringe, and the reason a provider that publishes a starting figure with no volume is listed in the register but kept out of the pooled figures.

No provider observed in Edinburgh published a filler price against a stated volume: all three published either a starting figure with no volume, a price list as images only, or nothing.

Method

The method is written out here so that the figures can be checked and the observation repeated.

What these figures do not show

A published price describes a product and a volume a provider has chosen to advertise. A millilitre is a unit of filler, not a unit of result: the same volume in different hands, in different products and in different areas does different things, and a provider may change what is published at any time. Several publish a starting figure, several publish nothing, and one publishes only images, so the set is a picture of what was published, not of what was charged.

Nothing here is medical advice and nothing here establishes suitability. The question that matters more than the figure is what happens if something goes wrong: whether the provider stocks hyaluronidase, whether they can describe a vascular occlusion plan, and who would manage a complication. No published price answers any of that. Ask the provider directly before booking.

Questions readers ask

What does this page record?

It records prices for dermal fillers that were published on provider websites in the United Kingdom on a stated date. Each figure was read from a provider's own page and the address of that page is listed. It is a dated observation of published prices, not a price list, not a quotation and not an offer.

Why is the unit one millilitre or one syringe?

Because it is the only unit enough providers publish to allow a comparison. Providers price fillers by area, by product and by volume, and the same named area can involve very different amounts of filler, so an area price on its own compares nothing. Where a provider prices a named product by the syringe without stating millilitres, that figure is counted as one syringe.

Why are some providers missing from the figures?

Because a figure is only counted when a volume is stated. A provider that publishes a starting price, a figure with no volume, a part syringe price or only a multi millilitre package is listed in the register with what it published, but its figure is not pooled, because it would not be comparable.

Can I use these figures to decide what a treatment should cost me?

No. A published price is a commercial statement about a described product at a moment in time. It does not establish what a provider will charge you, how much filler your treatment would use or whether treatment is suitable. With fillers in particular, a low figure may simply mean a smaller volume or a different product.

Can this record be cited?

Yes. Cite the observation number and its date, because the figures are replaced rather than edited when a new observation is made, and earlier observations stay listed in the version history above.
